HAROLD DAVIESDAVIES Harold (Blackie) Harold passed away on Feb 19 after a long illness bravely borne. He was the devoted husband of Marlene for fifty six years and a dearly loved father, grandfather and great- grandfather and will be sorely missed. Marlene and family would like to thank friends and neighbours for the beautiful floral tributes for the house and funeral and the countless cards and messages received. Thank you so much to all who paid their last respects to Harold by attending the funeral. We would also like to thank the Doctors and District Nurses of St. Andrews surgery for the kind and caring nursing they gave to Harold during his last months, and to heart failure nurse Helen Stickler for all her help. Thanks to Minister John Cook for his words of comfort. Last but not least, heartfelt thanks to Paul Williams, undertaker, for the dignity, care and consideration carried out at the funeral.
